1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most advanced robot vacuum to date. The most significant innovation, however, is its camera-based obstacle detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects like charging cords and shoes. It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of the object it comes across so that you can tell it to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills quickly, leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot application makes it simple to control. You can schedule cleanings, and also create Keep Out Zones to ensure that it doesn't vacuum in areas you don't wish to. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can control it from start to stop using your voice.
The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that resembles a toy rather than an obnoxious and loud robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt Disposal System also self-empties, which will cut down your cleaning time.

2. Roborock Q5+
If you want a robot vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors, a hybrid is the best option. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also come with many additional features like smart mapping, small object avoidance, and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it lacks some of the features you'll find on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still an excellent option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.
The Q5+ is noticeably gentle around obstacles such as table legs and walls which makes it a good choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality do not excel in. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is excellent and has very few misses in corners and on walls.
Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by the buttons on the device itself or via the Roborock app. Through the app, you can start and stop cleanings and schedules, as well as create virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map or change the labeling of rooms.
If you decide to go with the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is relatively easy. It also comes with a large LCD display, which is nice to have when setting up schedules or altering settings. This isn't a necessity for most people however it can help you keep the track of the maintenance intervals for your robot easily.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and functionality are some of the most advanced available however it's expensive.
It's a tiny base station that looks great and is able to be concealed when not in use. But the station's main selling feature is the way it automatizes numerous tasks and functions that other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do) and empty the dust bin after vacuuming, and helps keep your robot clean and charged.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive and efficient, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does a good job picking up dirt from floors that aren't. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
The Freo X Ultra is not without faults, particularly when it comes navigation. Its laser and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robovacs, meaning it sometimes gets stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms of the house. It's not able to navigate stairs as well as some competitors, for instance and it doesn't have an dock that allows the user to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.
Although it doesn't provide as many in terms of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts within the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the higher price tag.
If you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this robotic There are many alternatives available which include a variety of eufy models for substantially less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is a bit more expensive, but offers more features, including stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on floors that are unfinished carpets with low pile and even high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of performance, features, and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning on hard and carpet flooring, and a mopping function for a low cost. It's easy to set up, just snap on one of the side brushes, turn it on and connect the charging dock. The app guides you through the steps needed to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. You'll need to place the dock near an electrical outlet and enough space for it to move, however.
The G30 is a compact device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, and features sleek black finish and three physical buttons: Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which cleans the area in an arc for two minutes). You can also connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.
The primary characteristic that sets the G30 apart from its competitors is the method it cleans. It uses an integrated map to create an image of the immovable items that are in its path. It keeps track of the things it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.
The sleek G30 has a few issues. The iRobot Roomba 675 is better constructed, has lower recurring costs, charges more quickly and has the same battery life. It also offers better performance on floors with no carpet and low-pile carpet. It also has a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with a set of boundaries to keep it away from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister doesn't need emptying as often and it struggles less with heavy materials such as cereal.
